Individual Therapy
I work with individual adults who are looking for a space with no strings attached to share personal-inner thoughts, emotions, and ideas in order to gain perspective, tools, and additional support in their lives. I treat individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, body image concerns, relational and interpersonal challenges.

Kids and Teens
Today’s youngest generation faces so much pressure to perform academically, athletically, creatively, and interpersonally with social media. I am a believer that young people should be given opportunities and space to express themselves, and often this is best achieved through play, art, music, and games. I find that these activities spur larger conversations about life, family, friends, and daily challenges faced. I incorporate periodic parent check-ins with consent from the children to provide feedback and support.
-
Family Therapy
To me, the family can be the most effective tool to enable meaningful change. I engage with families to facilitate difficult conversations and provide tools to achieve goals. I often incorporate family check-ins with individual child and teen therapy. It may be a family navigating a divorce or incorporating new family members, having a space to communicate with each other with an unbiased individual facilitating to provide structure and safety.

Young Adult Males
Our young men often struggle alone and isolated. They may not have the experience nor language to externalize their inner thoughts and emotions. These feelings can paralyzing them from achieving their goals. These young men can struggle in developing their identity leading to uncertainty, ambivalence, low self-esteem, feeling “stuck or “in a rut”. I specialize in supporting young men as they grow from adolescence to adulthood.

Health Crisis
Unexpected medical events can spiral individuals and family members into crisis, which can develop into larger mental health struggles. I support my clients in navigating these tremendously challenging periods. My goal is to empathize, stabilize, explore social sources of support, and connect clients with appropriate resources and services. I work in a hospital setting (CPMC - Sutter) and I can help clients navigate large medical systems.

I do not accept insurance at this time, but can provide super bills for reimbursement from your insurance provider.
Those covered by an insurance company with out-of-network benefits can receive substantial reimbursement for treatment, depending on the insurance company. Prior to your appointment, please inquire with your insurance company to see what your out-of-network coverage for mental/behavioral health services is. Call your insurance company and ask them the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy (CPT code 90834)?
What is my deductible and have I met it yet?
What is my coinsurance (% that your insurance company will pay after your deductible has been met)?
