He also works at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, treating patients and families on an Acute Rehabilitation unit and facilitating groups on the In-Patient Psychiatric unit.
Within the private practice setting, Martin works with kids, teens, adults, and families, but specializes in supporting young adult males (16-25years old) struggling with mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, substance use, ADHD, family health crisis, and identity formation (feeling stuck, lost, in a rut). Martin works closely with his father Lawrence Diller, M.D. an expert behavioral pediatrician based in Walnut Creek for over 40 years (https://docdiller.com/).
Martin attended the Wright Institute in Berkeley and completed his training at California Pacific Medical Center (Sutter) and The Children's Institute in Oakland. Prior to his career providing mental health services, Martin toured internationally as drummer and music director for a diverse range of artists and bands including Yuna, Amber Coffman, Givers, Young The Giant, Walk The Moon, Postmodern Jukebox and many more. A self proclaimed “Jazz nerd”, Martin still performs regularly around California.
